Winter Scavenger Hunt Purpose : At the end of this Scavenger hunt students will be able to learn about the season winter with its characteristics/fun/facts and vocabulary. 1. Print the 16 Scavenger Hunt cards on card stock or brightly -colored paper and cut them apart along the black lines. 2. Make copies of the Scavenger Hunt questions worksheet. Each student needs a copy. 3. Place the Scavenger Hunt cards around your classroom where students will be able to find them. You can put them on chairs, on the computer keyboard, on the back of your classroom door, on the sides of student desks, on the chalkboard or wherever you like. 4. This module is designed from my animal classification pack to carry out assessment activities in class for learning ,reviewing and fun. It includes Animal Classification cut and paste activities: Sort vertebrates such as mammals, fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds and invertebrates sponges, mollusks, Flatworms, Annelids Roundworms, Sponges, Echinoderms, Cnidarians, Arthropods. Two versions of this activity are included: 1. Students will sort pictures of given animals to correct word groups in a box. 2. Students are given the characteristics and will have to sort them to the correct animals categories in a box. 3. At last mix sorting activity is given based on picture and category with an answer key. This is great for a hands on activity or an assessment! Hope students will Enjoy.
